Arielle -
Please bring in your two stanzas tomorrow. It doesn't matter if they're typed up - just as long as you have them.
Thanks!
Maddy
Does it have to look like a poem?
Guys -
For the vocabulary words on the Friday S.S. test, go to my blog and get the link under the post titled 'Social Studies Units 1 & 2 Quiz' to practice them!
You can practice them, test yourself on them, play games with them, and much much more!
No there's the geography test + the chapter test on Friday Math students we have the math test tomorrow.
Maya - I wrote the first 3 stanzas, and the end. Here it is, from what we had:
Brring, brring
Comes a much awaited call
From a home far way
a place where my heart belongs
Vigorous tremors
in christchurch, new Zealand
deadly, devastating, destructive
but the people closest to me survived
The quake site
The plane hovers above
tents in the oddest places
beings forced to abandon homes
End:
Angels in disguise
prying up humans from rubble
the people dusting themselves off
maybe dazed, but definitely determined
to rebuild the city they loved
we just need to get into the middle now, which is what i left for both of us to do. by this, i mean snack recess.
Do you guys know the other web tool for Photovisi like the one Mr.Buxton showed us my sister wants to know THANX!
