dont forget to color code!
Mr. Buxton, we never got to talk privately for the persuasive letters.
what color code is the counter arguement and anecdot
what color code is the counter arguement and anecdot
I think the counter argument and the anecdote are all blue.
can a counter arguement and anecdote be the secong to last paragraph
is all the counter arguement and anecdote blue?
First comment: Yes, I think so
Second comment: I just told you that.
What is SOR? Please help!
Mr Buxton, I noticed a spelling error in the blog post! The word that was wrong was wear, you wrote you may where your traditional clothes to school. Wear and where are homophones
For the counter argument we need to have a question and answer, but is it all in one paragraph.
I think so
what colors do we color the other parts miguel?
remember toprint it out onto a hard copy
What other parts? Be specific
Harriet, i think the anecdote or counter argument is blue, and the conclustion paragraph is red
can the anecdote be in first person?
+1 H.
the color code is meant to help not confuse you. Decide what it is you are trying to do - support or elaborate and then color code appropriately - THINK FIRST!
I ALREADY SAID THAT THE COUNTER ARGUMENT AND THE ANECDOTE ARE BLUE!!!
None of the essay can be first person
So you can't use "I", "You", "We", etc.
The Call to Action can have a "You" statement, right? the pic on the post has a "You" statement under "Call to Action."
Miguel I think you can't have a "You" statement in the Call To Action still I am not sure though.
Thanx
how do I do my counterargument after the opposing school of thought thing?
I think that SOR stands for subject, opinion and reason (1,2,3 reasons)
I'm not so sure though...
Yes it does...
Mr. Buxton, I was writing my personal essay for RLA in word and I was wondering why this sentence is grammatically incorrect: All of these skills will be carried by this year’s 6th graders throughout their whole lives.
Thanks!
Anisha
P.S. We had to make new accounts and blogs this year so that Mr.Elms could access our blogs in TeacherDashboard. Is that would you guys had to do?
What is the restate?
