Imovie

In tomorrow's session,  you will be recording your Imovie. Use tonight to put the finishing touches to the different sections you will put into your movie. This will be your first Reading  Skill application grade. Make sure you have hit all of the key targets ( see a post from earlier in the week)

This is a light H/W night. Take advantage of making sure you are ready to finish your Imovie. You will only have ONE session (40minutes) to create your finished product!

You should be working on your characters problems for your IMovie project this evening.  If you have laready finished this, then continue working on your evaluating (opinion) paragraph. Make sure you have at least two good categories and evidence to support your opinions.

Remember to be working on the IXL  from last night


Be thinking about what you want to put into your iMovie  Book Reflection project.  The WILF for this project MUST include the following:
  • Advanced Retell using the 5PS
  • Problems your character faces using 5Cs
  • Visualized Scene for the story using the VIS-U-A-LI-Zing strategy
  • Your opinion - 2 categories supported by evidence
  • Mention of main themes of the story
  • Integration of some advanced vocabulary

You will be working on these sections in class this week. However, you should be taking sticky notes that collects EVIDENCE to put into your iMovie as you read!

Multiplication Algorithms/ Voicethread


H/W - You have 4 days  to do this work. There isn't H/W on holidays, but this is not a holiday.
1) Make a table of persuasive ideas for noticing, sketching, questioning
2) Create another math multiplication algorithm video and teach your parents the difference between the  two methods we have learned.  Use decimals and at least 4 digits in the video. Upload the video to your blog.
3) Finish your science photopeach and upload onto blog

PLAN 'B' and AAAWWUBBIS


PLAN B
Successful students are those that solve the problems they are daily faced with. Today, we spoke about the importance of having a 'plan B' - just in case. Anticipate problems before they emerge - no printer ink, running out of paper, etc. What will your 'Plan B' be for future projects/assignments?
