  7. Not sure that I understand the question Lauren. You are being asked to decode the meaning of the words based on the information you have in he text. For example if I said Jimmy Smith holds 4 Wimbledon titles, I would 'decode' that Jimmy Smith is the name of a famous tennis player. I am giving you some 'proper nouns' to decode... what could they be? I guess you can use proper nouns.. but be careful...make sure you are actually offering a clear explanation of what the words I gave you 'probably' mean or refer to. Hope this helps?

  11. Matigan called and asked if she had the right homework she read it to me. I realized that she was clarifying if she had the right homework.
    Bekah, we take sentences in the story and make them into an appositive.

  22. This story really made you think about what happened to all the immigrants that came from Eurpope it is still hard to believe immigrants are still coming from america!
