e.g.The Titanic Sinks!
The RMS Titanic, also known as the Unsinkable Ship, set sail on her maiden voyage on April 10, 1912. It was leaving Southampton, England to reach New York. This ship was the biggest ship ever and was created by White Star Lines and was constructed by Harland & Wolff. On April 14 a terrible disaster happened. The Titanic hit an iceburg. It was 11:40pm when she grazed the side of the iceburg. Three hours later it sank. Over 1,500 people died on that fatal night. The captain, Edward J. Smith ignored warnings from other ships about iceburg sightings. They tried to turn the ship so it would not hit the iceburg. They turned but not enough. The ship started to sink at bow, making the passangers move to the stern. She split in two and sank bringing everyone in the water down too. Many froze in the -28 degrees Fahrenheit water. About 706 people survived, living to tell this tragic tale.

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds “The Beatles” is a song that refers to a young girl’s gorgeous characteristics. The author talks about Lucy being in the sky with diamonds. The writer states “The girl with kaleidoscope eyes”, and in my opinion the line refers to the diamonds. The diamonds are possibly signifying that Lucy’s eyes are beautiful. Furthermore, a variety of lines show that the girl doesn’t know Lucy. The writer scribbles “Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain” which describes that someone is not with her, but following Lucy. Additionally, a couple of lines suggest that Lucy knew that the figure was following her. The phrases “Suddenly someone is there at the turnstile, the girl with kaleidoscope eyes” shows that Lucy had to know who the person was if she showed up at the exact place. The line shows that Lucy is clever if Lucy knows that like someone is following her. To reiterate, Lucy is a girl that provides flawless characteristics like a diamond, and she is very intelligent. “The girl with kaleidoscope eyes”.

a powerful song that expresses a feeling a person has for a girl and the person wants to know more about her life and be a part of it. I can infer this because a multitude of times, a long, winding road comes across as a person’s life’s story. “Get out of the way, please” Herbert quickly exhaled
