  11. My causes of the Revolution Work won't upload on to google docxs so I am just going to upload it on to here.
    The reason why the Boston Massacre transpired was because tension had been building between Royal troops and American colonies ever since Royal troops arrived in Massachusetts in October 1768. From then on out there was great disagreements between the people of Boston, and those trying to enforce the King’s rule. This was to enforce a large taxation imposed by the Townshend Acts.

    The Townshend Acts were a series of laws passed in 1767 by the Parliament of Great Britain. These acts were all to raise money in the colonies to pay salaries of governors and judges so that they would be independent of the colonial rule. This then resulted in the Boston Massacre. So from then on Parliament began to consider a motion to repeal the Townshend laws or duties.

    The killing of 5 colonists by British regulars on March 5th, 1770.

  12. Andrew the patrick henry speech is Mr. President, it is natural for man to indulge in the illusions of hope. Let us not, I beseech you sir, decieve ourselves longer. We have done everything we can to avert the storm which is now coming on us. We have been petitioned, we have been remonstrated, and we have prostrated ourselves before the tyrannical hands of ministry and Parliament...and we have been spurned, with contempt,from the foot of the throne...In vain, after all thesse things...there is no longer any room for hope


    If we wish to be free...we must fight! The battle...is not to be strong alone; it is also to the vigilant, the active, the brave...The war is enevitable---and let...it...come!


    Gentlemen may cry peace, peace---but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field? Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?

    Forbid it, almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty, or...give me death!"

    (several yell out) "To arms!" "To arms, Patriots!"

  16. Eliza- No, we dont say that. Mr. Buxton might have some people say that in the croud, but it IS NOT PART OF THE SPEACH.

    Martha- No, mr. buxton wants us to do some things for verb practice on the blog. i dont know if mrs. graham has any vocab for u or not.
