H/W Changes

Popplet is now up and working - please complete your assignment using this software. If you have already used a different type of software, then you don't have to redo it. IF YOU STILL EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS WITH POPPLET, then just do the inferences on a sheet of paper
(alternatively, you may use gliffy.com to create your mindmap - thanks Mimi)

PLEASE PRINT YOUR FINISHED WORK AD BRING IT TO CLASS

Remember to cut out a title from an age appropriate newspaper article. Try to make the title as big as possible.

  5. sophie- anything that u can interpret!

abby-we have to have part of a rough draft typed or not typed.

thomas-on word, u should be able to get up an excel spreadsheet. its probably in 1 of the options at the top.

:) hope this answers all your questions and solves all your problems!

  11. yes Catie. And Thomas what you need to do is type all the dates starting from the beginning to end in colum A then you need to write the matching stock prices beside in colum B the click add objects then scroll until you see the line graph. Then you click on it and your line graph will show up. Then you can change the number pattern (eg if its counting by 10's and you want it by 5's) by clicking on the numbers and going to scale. Hope this helps! If you have a question just ask!

  14. AAAHHHH!!!! I realized that i think i have a pretty good topic for my anecdote, but i dont know how to put it into words!!

i am centering it around LEGACY, and i will use public speaking and writing as examples. i will also do improvement in those 2.

this is what ive got so far:

As I step down from the large, round, white platform, it seems as if the crowd of about 100 fellow students are all screaming in a frenzied chant, "EGGE, EGGE!" A wide ear-to-ear smile spreads across my face as if I had just been served a pound of solid chocolate on a silver platter. My journey not only through 5th grade, but also the whole lower school, has been an expedition I will never forget.
