  10. Mr. Buxton,

Can your topic sentance be two sentances? Mine is communication is making contact with people. Over the years, technology has made it easy to communicate even if you are far away from the person.

    Caroline

    ReplyDelete
  11. No Caroline, I think it only has to be one because it's a topic sentence not sentences. So, I would say no It can only be 1 but still MAYBE it's allowed

  35. Maddy - you need to go to setting and change all the list i showed you in class from YES - to NO.. your blog should not be searchable or added to blog list

there is no... www. before a blog address. some people are not giving me the correct addreess.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Thanks for the inspiration, Rachel! You gave me a good idea!

    ReplyDelete
  37. maddy -- drop the 'there are'

    begin with...the benefits to ...

yes Rachel... as long as it not the same one you did from last year

    ReplyDelete
  38. What do you mean, Mr. Buxton? I did change all the 'yeses' to 'nos' when we did everything in class.

    ReplyDelete
  39. How do I drop the 'there are'? It wouldn't make sense really, especially in this sentence:
Although brothers are annoying, there are benefits to having one.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Although brothers are annoying, the benefits to having one.....finish the thought

your blog is searchable ... it should NOT be able to be found via an internet search

    ReplyDelete
  41. Although brothers can be annoying, the benefits of having one is unlimited?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yes Anisha... your blog should be a living history of your daily academic life.

    ReplyDelete
  43. okay. i just got (will send it away) confused because you said that we will really only use this in 2 weeks time.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Which setting do I go to if I'm looking for the thing to switch and make in non-searchable, Mr. Buxton?

    ReplyDelete

  57. ANISHA. the script says cookie a lot. It sounds good how you linked together a few things. The script seems a little long though.
Other than that, great job Anisha and Rohan!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Thanks Alex, for your great pointers were greatly helpful. i will be sure to not use "cookie" so much and shorten down my script, but in my defense it is not as long as it seems.

    ReplyDelete
  59. You're Welcome Harrisen

Anisha, do you mean fantastic or tantastic because I seriously do not understand tantastic. I think it should be how many t's not tea's because then it'll get confusing.

    ReplyDelete
  60. It doesn't exactly matter how long it is unless you have a time limit. Hopefully we don't, but I don't think it's that long

    ReplyDelete
  61. Great Anisha, and if you leave out anthing,it will not be as good.

    ReplyDelete
  62. tantastic is my Tuesday version of 'fantastic'. okay i'll change that. the other point you talked about.

    ReplyDelete
  64. DO you mean the t's Anisha? Just to clarify.

    ReplyDelete
  65. i have that phrase then i am supposed to have " how many t's in that? the answer is two (that). the phrase is clutter.
