Qtr 2 Week 9 Day 1

There are a lot of pieces of work due this week. Based on progress I noted today, I am adjusting the due dates.  We will spend all week working on these assignments:
  • Social Studies Animoto Patriot or Loyalist persuasive argument (Due: Thur)
  • Persuasive Writing (Hardcopy) (Due: Thur)
  • Persausive Animoto Essay (Due: Wed)
  • Subway Lunch: (Wed)
  • Historical Fiction work (Due: Fri)
Tonight's priority: BRING A HARDCOPY DRAFT OF YOUR PERSUASIVE ESSAY to school tomorrow

Prepositional Phrase Test: Wed - We will recap this topic in class tomorrow

    You are stating that it needs to change, but you are not saying HOW...too many of your slides seem to be repetitive. What must people/society do to change?

    George- Obesity tend to have health problems powerpoint slide thing in animoto you used it twice.

    think about this while I finish watching your video :
    you make quite a bit of reference towards the muslims and hindus fighting, is your topic just that war or all religious wars? I know, you say that thing about how in the most recent wars 7 million/billion people have been killed, but mostly it is making reference to those religions in particular.

    Well I don't know if you should change the title because you do make that one reference about the 7 million people having been killed in the 4 most recent wars. That part persuades the viewer a bit more and has quite a big impact on it.
    I also like the part where it says something like, 'it only takes one to change the world' that is quite inspiring.
    You should elaborate on the Indo-Pak conference a little.

    Good job! The music and theme work really well with the topic.
    There is one slide that says 'poverty could change our future' and the people in the picture below the worlds are - in a way - jumping for joy. That doesn't really fit.
    You should revise some of the grammar errors that make it a little confusing.
    You repeat some slides like the seal of the President one and one of the explosion ones. I am not sure if you did that on purpose though.
    It is very inspiring all in all though.

    Well done! Some of your slides are very inspiring and make me really want to help.
    You should maybe put in some picture that would explain a little more about why we should help them.
    The happy Christmas music doesn't fit with the 'help Cambodia' theme, and it ends halfway through your animoto anyway.
