  24. My Kennings Poem

    Journey to the Pond
    By: Han Sohn

    Pet-makers
    Leaf-burrier

    Tadpole-layer
    Silent-sneaker
    Night-awaker

    Always found in the grass
    Never to be seen

    Crickets- enemy
    Butterfly-eater
    Betrayer of insects

    Searching food to eat,
    Hiding from predators
    Hedgehog fighters
    Snake attracters
    Doesn’t bite

    Leaps touching
    The heavens, as high
    As it can go.

  27. My New Poem:

    $1 Rocks

    By Caroline Wilson

    I beg
    I plead
    I feel the need
    to have another
    $1 rock

    I collect
    I suspect
    that they are perfect
    and I want another
    $1 rock

    I find
    unwind
    be kind
    and hope to have a
    $1 rock

    if only...
    if only...
    if only...
    I had a $1 rock
