The Explorers are who we are
    Each day we travel far
Our quest is knowledge and learning
    We're gonna reach the stars
Our goal is to do our best
    We'll ALWAYS pass the test
So all that's left to say
It's time... to begin the day
    Let's Rock!

    Anybody remember that?

  10. I didn't even wait for home. I cried as soon as I said bye to Mr. Buxton, and I kept on crying. I still can't believe it's the end of the year. I keep feeling like it's Friday, and I am going to see you all on Monday. Then, I realize it's Tuesday, and I remember school is over :'( :'(

THANK YOU MR. BUXTON FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND BEING THE BEST TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD! I really shouldn't say that, even though it's true. Saying that is like a parent saying they have a favorite child. Still, You are my favorite teacher.

  11. I love the Friday Message! Definitely deserves to be the last message! I especially love the meaning and how when you read all those sentences backwards, I means the exact opposite of the way it is normally.

  27. I hate summer! I'm bored and sad. Also, I was sitting on a stair, watching TV, when something fell on my shoulder. I put my hand back to find what is was. Stop reading right now and guess what it was. I felt something kind of papery and kept trying to brush it away. Then it stung me! A bee had fallen from the second floor and onto my shoulder. When my sister ran upstairs to get her tweezers, I realized the bee was still alive and crawling on my arm. Luckily, my helper was there and took the bee off my arm. Now, the stinger is out, and my finger no longer hurts. Sadly, my finger is huge because it swelled. What a bad start to summer :(

  60. :'( i'm sad tomorrow is sunday. and no, not because my helper is off, but because on sundays, i always think of tomorrow being another great day at school with all of my friends and favorite teacher! i miss being on the computer at 7:30, finishing whichever project needed to be finished, scanning through blog comments, and looking at pictures from the past throughout the year. i miss packing my bag and going to bed early. and im going to miss on monday morning, when i wake up, knowing that i will not ever again be getting on the bus for the long bus ride to school, arriving, walking up all of those stairs, getting to the classroom, seeing all of my friends, reading the to-do list on the chalk board, and being entertained by anisha while im at my desk. :'( i willl truly miss it. and since im not going anywhere for summer, i will be on the blog ALOT. thank you so much for the best school year of my life mr buxton!
(this was probably the longest comment i have ever posted... :D)

  61. summer is so boring! i mean unless you count hanging out with my old parents being fun. Anyway, i guess it's not that bad because soon I'm going to visit my grandparents in germany (ugghh). And they move one mile per hour! so yah, that's my summer.

  66. My room is a mess! We are moving, so we have just started packing boxes, and since the first thing is clothes and important stuff, I now have about 5 boxes in my room:
1 Small box- important stuff, hardly filled
    2 Medium boxes- my clothes
    2 Medium boxes- Mom's clothes

I'm scared of sleeping in my bed because I'm afraid that in the morning I will forget about the boxes and trip over them! Wouldn't be surprised. I trip over the leg of my piano chair all time, and that is smack in the middle of the doorway.

A couple of months ago, I discovered I had a sleeping bag hidden in the loft. Now, we have guests over. On the first day, I kept asking my mom every 5 minutes if I could sleep in my sleeping bag. My mom was really annoyed.

What happened to my typing speed?!

  67. I just claimed a box for me to live in
