  2. I loved the book you read to us Mr. Buxton, I wish it was a longer book, so we could read more! Jordan nice job on your video. I liked how at the end you stated your opinion and what you think the characters should have done.

  3. Do we put what we think here, or on our reading table thing we did today. I don't know what chart you are talking about. And I also think that the author of our book today chose schubert for a specific reason. I think that the author keeps saying schubert because of three songs he wrote/performed. The fair maid on the mill, winter journey, and the swan song. The fair maid on the mill might be symbolising the nazi man who keeps giving him bread. The nazi man is the fair maid, because he is still working for someone, and being nice/fair at the same time. The winter's journey symbolises the journey that he took through the winter and snow and bitter cold. And the swan song might show that one day he will be free as a swan, and to sing and perform as much as he wants.

  5. +1 Jackson - Thanks for your contribution

You write in your own Thinking about Reading page. But you are supposed to be writing about your 'own' independent reading.

  7. Wow Jackson where did you find all of the songs. And I do agree with you because each song shows a different time in the kids life.
