today in class I learned that in order to succeed you must fail. Or else your not pushing yourself hard enough.

In RLA today I learned that taking risks is part of life and I shouldn't be afraid to step outside my comfort zone. Also being more open to trying new things.

In RLA today, I learned that to achieve something, you must step outside your comfort zone, even if it is doing something you don't like to do. I also learned that to improve you have to practice the things you don't like to do and the things that you aren't good at.

ReplyDeleteToday in RLA class I learned that I had to step out of my comfort zone in order to really LEARN new things, because trying new things is always going to be out of your comfort zone.
We also needed to have a "growth mindset" instead of a "fixed mindset", meaning that we had to be a risk-taker and be open-minded.
Another thing I learned today is that we needed to practice what we are bad at, instead of always concentrating on what we are good at, because then we would not improve.

My comfort zone (with books) usually was quick reads that weren't too hard to read which is why I'm intimdated by 7th grade books for 7th grade students. Hopefully this year, I'll try to step out of my 11-inch yellow rectangle and read some of those books.
