-Class votes for winner - teacher may override vote
-Quality of Recitation (PIPES)
How to win?
- Choose a poem with 'meat'
- Give an interpretation of the meaning of poem.
- Practice performing and memorizing the poem
- Use facial expressions, body language etc. (PIPES)
- Props possible.
