Mr. Buxton this doesn't really have anything to do with the speech, but for our script how do we put something that were supposed to do not say because I was typing the script I came to that kind of part.
ReplyDelete-Sarah N.
Look on the example of the script i gave you. I think there isan example of this half way down.
ReplyDeleteYou just write it as a normal sentence aftr missing a line after the previous speaker
Oh... Thank you didn't see that.
ReplyDelete-Sarah
mr buxton i still don't really get it... it is kind of confusing
ReplyDeleteso we are supposed to put our opinions on it but i don't get exactly how
ReplyDeleteMr. Buxton in the speech i don't get the hook part. And do you describe Obama or the school children watching him or something other than those 2.

Would something good be... describing word ... describing word... the it... what the it was doing...
ReplyDeleteSuch as: strong and bold the Mark stood up to speak to his fellow class mates at Jack High School.
... or am I being too exact. Or should my opinion be in my hook too?
-Sarah
Also when should you use I? Can you use it at the begging? Should you use it in the begging, middle, or end? Or None Or anywhere in your sentence???
ReplyDelete-Sarah
Mr. Buxton i forget why you can't put something like...
ReplyDeleteSetting my own goals for my education will help me succed when I am older...You told me in class that, that kind of sentence is incorrect. If i am wrong will you tell me and give me an example of what you are looking for. It doesn't have to be related to the topic if that will make you feel better. Also, do you have to use a certain # of compound or complex or simple sentences or do we just try to use how ever many we can, and can you do 2 sentences for your Opening???
--------Sarah-----------------------------
Do you have to put things like ... the responsibility each person has for their education... would that be in ""(quotations)
ReplyDelete...because that is direct from the speech and anything like it.......
ReplyDeleteSorry for all the comments I just keep having question that you didn't get to answer for me in class..........
And I forget what i was going to say then i remember it so i put it in then i have another one...etc.

Also...... (Soooooooo sorry) if we have examples of people than do we underline or highlight or do any thing with them????????? Also haw would you put those examples of people into a opinion sentence???
ReplyDeleteAnd........ whould examples of people be a good power 2 or should i try to thind of a different one.
If so (a different one) what good topics do you reccomend? just the ones like message which i already have and quotes which i already have or something like that when you put those things on the blog???????? SO SORRY!!!!!
