Detroit might not be the location of the towering Statue of Liberty in Manhatten, or Mount Rushmoore, a sculpture of five presidents in South Dakota, but it is home to the biggest auto companies in the US.

    Thanks,
    Alex

  17. Alex,G. stands for general uses such as, Many houses in West Virgiania are heated from coal taken from mines in towns like Laurel Creek or McKensee.see you're talking about coal mines uses. R. is refrences basically you're defining something like, Natural resources are elements that allow human beings to live, to improve the living evviroment, or improve our sense of being. so you would be defining natural resources. A- analogy like, the citrus groves are as important to Flordia as the coal mines are to the econmy of West Virginia. A number two- alternative like California might not have the orchards of Georgia, or the farmlands of Nebraska, but the interstates that span the state form a concrete pathway that reaches in every direction. B- be there like the importance of the restruant industry is witnessed through the hectic clanging and banging of plates and silverware heard on almost every corner of the streets in Manhatten
I got this all of a worksheet Mr.Buxton handed out
