Suspense Day 4
Reminder to all classes that your suspense writing is due tomorrow.
C/D & E/F Classes only- Highlight your opening and delayed adjectives in blue.
Remember, you are being assessed on craft and delivery of your story. This means that even if you do not have the most interesting of plots, BUT if you use your voice really well and in an engaging way, you can still score exemplary for your speaking grade. Make sure you have checked out the rubric below.

Suspense Day 2: Writing Craft
H/W - c/d & e/f classes
You should spend 20 minutes writing one of your scenes for your suspense story. (Due Wed)
g/h - Finish your outline so that you are ready to write tomorrow.
RECAP OF TODAY"S LESSON CONTENT
Writing craft moves from today's class. You must use at least three 'phrase/sentence level' moves and at least two 'scene level' moves in your piece.

Spend 20 minutes working on your outline for your suspense story.
You must have bullet point ideas for:
1) Characters problems (list 4- 6 small things that go bad)
2) Setting - time/place
3) Names of characters
4) 2 or 3 things you will describe
5) Aspect of suspense e.g. twist ending - NO 'DREAM' endings!

Identity unit assessment
Grades are coming to your inbox very soon. Listen carefully to the voice feedback. You have three weeks from the receipt of the grades (not including the holiday) to resubmit if you choose to do so. If you are wondering why you didn't receive exemplary, Then compare your finished product with work here.
