H/W - All classes
Read to your agreed upon bookclub page.  Come to class tomorrow with an opinion about your book club book (a claim/discussion point) - based on the pages that you read.  e.g. The book is 'probably' teaching readers that the most important things in life are worth fighting for




Fri - Subjects and Predicates Test. (optional - but highly encouraged)
Spend 5 minutes peach evening practicing these activities between now and Friday, so that you have studied for the test.

Reminder to all classes that your suspense writing is due tomorrow.

C/D & E/F Classes only- Highlight your opening and delayed adjectives in blue.

Remember, you are being assessed on craft and delivery of your story. This means that even if you do not have the most interesting of plots, BUT if you use your voice really well and in an engaging way, you can still score exemplary for your speaking grade. Make sure you have checked out the rubric below.
