Tourist Attractions of Nevada
By: Juliana Vorhoff

As a small suburban family fails to find an entertaining and unique place to visit, the oldest and wisest child optimistically suggests going to the majestic state of Nevada. From the majestic monuments and sculptures to the gorgeous buildings Nevada’s attractions are amazing. Nevada’s delightful venues are probably the most impressive ever to be seen. Strangely, a popular destination is Fleishmann Planetarium because tourists say the images and models are very pristinely done. Madame Tussauds Wax Attraction figurines are commonly mistaken for real people with their realism. The Luxor Hotel, a large pyramid shaped hotel, has a giant Sphinx ‘guarding’ it. Another wonderful family place is M & M World which tourist comment is mouthwatering and fascinating altogether.
In Nevada, multitudes of historical places scattered about. Carson City is the capitol and families could see the capitol building. Nevada may not have as many celebrities as California but The Lahontan Dam, a dam between Fallon and Carson City Nevada, is meant for irrigation and for extra water uses. The Virgin Valley Heritage Museum posses’ artifacts from 1875 to 1935. Bootleg Canyon, near Boulder City, Nevada, is so amazing because it’s a large canyon where bikers and cross-country runners from even France, Spain, and even Japan and it’d be spectacular to participate.
Nevada posses beautiful scenery of mountains, statues, and monuments that are entertaining to visit. The House Made of Bottles, an astonishing site, is in fact made by a man named Tom Kelly created this house almost entirely out of bottles. Though Paramount Pictures has restored it, when a movie was shot and it had been damaged. Thunder Mountain Monument may be a large-scale sculpture; however, the monument is made out of strange objects like old boats, cars, tires, and other useless objects. Not only does Nevada, strangely, have an Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas but also it is half the size at about 540 feet tall. Couples visit this at night when all the lights are turned on. Ruby Mountains are popular mountains for hiking, hunting, and camping with families. As giant smiles spread across joyous faces the suburban family cannot wait to tell their other friends about their spectacular trip to the wonderful state of Nevada.

this is may 2nd component but I need to do A LOT of work to it and PLEASE comment.

Juliana,
maybe you could change the second majestic to something else because they are to close together. You probably could replace amazing with another word because people use it a lot. instead of saying "tourists say", you could say "tourist state" or something. " In Nevada, multitudes of historical places scattered about" isn't a full sentence because u need an are or something. "Nevada may not have as many celebrities as California but The Lahontan Dam, a dam between Fallon and Carson City Nevada, is meant for irrigation and for extra water uses. " isn't the greatest comparison. other that that, it is very good

The American alligator, Louisiana’s state reptile’s, feet squish as it strides through the mud on the banks of the Mississippi River. Louisiana contains a cornucopia of crops and other natural resources that put together the scenery, culture, and economy of this stunning area. Louisiana’s prime industry, petroleum products, relies on the overflowing non-renewable oil reserves found in the Pelican State. Louisiana leads the nation in known natural gas and petroleum reserves. Amazingly, petroleum can be found in all of Louisiana’s 64 parishes. The Tuscaloosa Trend, an underground region that runs beneath the southern region of the state, harbors copious amounts of natural gas.
The roaring Mississippi River moves so many renewable natural resources to Louisiana that numerous experts consider it a natural resource by itself. All of the fish swimming in the in the Mississippi and the Gulf of Mexico, like Red Drum, Spanish Mackerel, and Cobia, present Louisiana with a chief fishing industry. The fierce, commanding river deposits fertile soil throughout the state. Hydroelectricity, electricity created from running water, is another valuable aspect that the Mississippi provides.
Furthermore, the abundant soil deposited by the Mississippi stimulates the production of exceedingly valuable and renewable crops. Louisiana also goes by the name of “The Sugar State” because of the heaps of sugarcane, the plant used to create sugar, produced there. Louisiana’s principal cash crop is soybean. From rice and cotton, to corn and strawberries, ending with pecans and sweet potatoes, agriculture remains a significant business in Louisiana.
Louisiana retains a variety of non-renewable minerals that can be located almost anywhere in the state. Louisiana maintains more salt than any other state. Sulfur stands as another mineral that Louisiana mines more compared to anyplace else nationwide. Coal, a vital mineral utilized to formulate electricity, lies among the numerous of Louisiana.
Because of all the state’s forests, renewable trees are abundant in Louisiana. Astonishingly, forests cover over 50% of Louisiana. Paper mills dotted all over the land are due to the countless forests. From pine in the north, to oak in the east, and cypress in the south, the various trees of Louisiana contribute to its horde of natural resources. The alligator wades into the Mississippi and catches a White Perch, Louisiana’s state fish, to devour. The fish is a natural resource for both humans and alligators alike.
