A. On July 20, 1969, men landed on the moon. - NO - Boring dull facts!
B. In all directions the land was flat. The horizon was broken only by the rims of distant craters. They could see boulders and ridges. Close at hand, small craters pockmarked the surface; small rocks and pebbles were scattered everywhere. It was July 20th 1969, and this was probably the sight that met the first men who landed on the moon. YES - Engaging while still including facts

I learned so much today, and I improved my paragraph tons! I think this lesson is interesting, and will improve my writing in the future!
what is your compound sentence error..??
ouch!
Mr.Buxton where is the link to the article or did you hand it out in class?
I just have a question what do we focus on when taking notes on a article.
Jordan there is no need for a comma in the second sentence because there is not subject in the second part.
Riya, he left the articles on the tables for us to take.
I just realized that.... WHOOPS!
I need to work on that :)
