Actually scratch that here is a better defintion:

What is the difference between a ballad, and a normal poem? I had about 7 questions involving ballads, and I was wondering what the difference is between a ballad and other types of poems.

What is iambic decameter and hexameter? I got those on the test but i didn't know what it was

Marium:
a poem or song narrating a story in short stanzas. Traditional ballads are typically of unknown authorship, having been passed on orally from one generation to the next.

Ernest:
I can't find what a iambic decameter is but there is iambic pentameter.
