Thank you for posting the criteria that we will be judged on tomorrow. Also thank you for bringing in Ms. Paula for book recommendations. Lastly, thank you for discovering Membean because it is a really fun learning tool and I can tell already my vocabulary is improving I used the word prominent and my mom commented on my vocabulary and it has only been a couple of days!

Another teacher discovered it. I just implemented it.

Nice words Jordan!!!!!!!
As well thank you Mr. Buxton for knowing that teacher. My assumption by the end of the year is to be able to at least get up to or know 200 words. These will benefit be through out my life.

Today at the book fair there seemed to be a lot more young adult to adult books in place of middle school books. This seemed to test me or to show me that I need to get out of my comfort zone and see the world of books. Even though Mr. Buxton said The Great Expectations by Charles Dickens is a very complex book, I hope sooner then later I will be able to read it. I might want to go back tomorrow to find more books to challenge me. Thank you Mr. Buxton for taking us to the book fair.

The world of books is infinite, like the universe;)

I've heard about The Great Expectations and I've also heard about Charles Dickens. What I've heard about him was that he is a GREAT author but is very complex. I also thank Mr. Buxton for taking us to the Book Fair also because I can see what I am reading and were I am. That is a good idea to find books that challenge yourself. Someone once told me that in order to become a better reader or more advanced you have to really challenge yourself. And at this grade or later on we have to make a jump up to more adult literature.

I have a question. For the criteria, what do you mean by content? I can't find out! Have a good rest of the day.

Jackson,
I think that it means if you are prepared and if you actually have something because you just have to circle yes or no.
