Today, we used google maps to revisit some of our old neighborhoods. Visiting your past is an excellent strategy to generate ideas for memoir.

This is an IMPORTANT task that needs to be completed by next Monday. It should take a max. of 5-10mins if you use google or youtube effectively. This is known as the 'flipped classroom model' - you learn the content at home - you practice and reinforce the learning in school.

Chunking will improve my writing because it helps me see where my sentences are boring or plain bad. If I see a sentence is like that, I can root it out and replace it with a more sophisticated, complex sentence.
I think chunking is useful because it lets you know if you wrote a good sentence or how you can improve it.
Chunking sentences is the perfect way to section your sentences so you can focus on it and expand to make your writing much more meaningful and interesting to the reader. It makes you really concentrate on making them more sophisticated and opens up to opportunities to use figurative language, and more effective parts of speech. Also, its a good way to check whether your sentence is written correctly, because all sentences need to be able to be chunked easily.

For me, chunking sentences is the perfect way to improve your writing. This is because after you chunk them you are able to replace or enhance the original chunk in a more elegant or sophisticated way or any way that fits the mood. It also helps practice your basic knowledge of parts of speech, and can help improve your current vocabulary. This can help anybody because it can zoom in on the weak points in any sentence, enabling you to push your writing ability to a higher standard.
I think chunking is a very useful method for improving your sentences. When you feel that some of your sentences can be a bit boring or lacking emotion, chunking easily helps you fix or add emotion to different sections of the sentence instead of taking the sentence on all at once.
